2011 Tsali Challenge 

Date: August 27th & 28th, 2011
Location: Tsali Recreation Area - Bryson City, North Carolina

 This annual event is held at one of the most famous courses on the East coast, the Tsali trails.  The event is more than just a typical triathlon as the racers first paddle a flat water 3 mile loop around bear island in lake Fontana, then head to the hills for a 5 mile run on the beautifil singletrack at Tsali and then take off for a 12 mile loop on mountain bikes, wahoo, talk about triple dipping!  The first event on Saturday is a solo race and then most competitors return the next day for the team race on Sunday.  BYOB (bring your own boat) and expect a good time!
