2012 US Cup East / South Eastern Regional Championship  Series (SERC) / AMBC #7 - Tiger Rag

Date: June 24th
Issaqueena Forest Trails / Holly Springs area - Clemson, SC * Tiger Rag
***NEW course and location this year!***
*Note: wave order for all SERC / US Cup East events in 2012 will be Yellow @ 9:30am and White @ 11:30am.
*New this year to the series, the Cycle Youth team will be sponsoring a new Junior X class (11-18 experts), the distance will be targeted to the 1 & 1/2 hour range and will start with the Pro men.
The purpose for the new
class and the shorter distance is to prepare our top junior athletes to compete
at a National and international level where they will be racing with riders as
fast as some of our pros.  The average World Cup-level Junior Expert race
is only 60-80 minutes long, and therefore is the target goal of SERC and GSC
* Make up race for the GSC series
This 10 mile loop is only part of a larger trial system in the Clemson area, it has great singletrack, fast downhills and ends with a one mile gut wrenching climb, in a word, FUN!  This is a new location and new trails located on the West side of the lake.
Note: there will be an additional $4 per rider fee charged for this event and will be required before a racer can sign up, this fee is separate from the normal race entry fee and these monies go directly to the Clemson University Experimental Forest to help fund the building and maintenance of the trail system.
