2012 Single Speed Intergalactic Championships - S.S.I.C.

Date: April 20th 2013

Location: Cross Florida Greenway Trails(Landbridge Trailhead) - Ocala, Florida

***Red tag special: Race the SSIC event on Saturday and then enter the Hammer Head race on Sunday and you will receive a 20% discount on any HH class with no late fee!***

WAVIER (this waiver is required of all particpants, please sign, print and bring to event).

Race Starts at 10am

10 mile loop, one lap Base riders, two laps Sport and Women and three laps Experts.

*Package Pick up Saturday from 9am to 10am Hammer Head regsitration will be available from 10am to 2pm.

* Please note almost any bike can be converted into a single speed and in many cases for little time and expense, please consult with you local mechanic. Basically the drive train must be in a locked postion so that no shifting can occur, we will not accept simply locking the shifters out, the modification must be done on the drive train itself in a way that it can't be unlocked during the event.

Directions: From I-75 exit #341 go East 1/2 mile to first light and then turn left or North on 475A, go 2 miles entrance is on the left.

*Sorry no camping at the race site, the nearest camping is at the Santos trailhead

Note: OMBA club has asked that all riders please practice responsible riding techniques that do not damage the trails (like brake skidding for instance) especially during extremely dry or wet conditions.

Also the club would like to let everyone know there will be a workday on the Nayl's Section on Saturday, May
4th at 8 am, meeting at the 49th Street trailhead, please attend and give back to the trails we enjoy so much!
